Me Jean Groleau Named Vice-President of the Board of Directors
We are pleased to announce that Me Jean Groleau has been named Vice-President of the CATALIS Board of directors.
Me Groleau is an experienced administrative and judicial tax litigation lawyer. He began his career in the Ministère du Revenu du Québec’s litigation department. He was then named partner at a national firm before becoming vice-president and chairman of board od directors of the Association de la planification fiscale et financière (a tax and financial planning association), which led him to co-founding Groleau Gauthier Plante s.e.n.c.r.l. in 2015.
In addition to his legal experience, Me Groleau is very involved in philanthropy. After having served on the board of directors of the Sainte-Justine Hospital Foundation for five years, Me Groleau founded the Ataxia Charlevoix-Saguenay Foundation with his wife in 2006. This organization funds research to discover and develop a curative treatment to help people with autosomal recessive spastic ataxia, an inherited, progressive, and debilitating neurological disease.

Patients of all ages and medical conditions must have access to clinical trials throughout Quebec.
